Our world - A világ amiben élünk - Zeitgeist

Magyar verzió lentebb.

My dear readers. You might be aware that there is something (in fact lots of things) wrong with the world as it is now. Even if you are not interested in your own spiritual nature you should be aware of the following FACTS:

- There is abundance in the world - some guys just do not want you to know it.
- You do not need to be afraid of anything. Fear is a big fucking negative energy and is it is being exploited big time by those that can earn a huge profit off of it (insurance companies… anyone?)
- Oil is not needed for energy. Even at this point in time the whole mankind could use natural solutions (wind, wave, geothermic, solar, tidal not mentioning “cosmic”) to power all of our gadgets.

Please if you want to realize what’s going on, and how can you make a difference, watch this movie, pause it when needed, digest the information. Look after the FACTS that are mentioned in it, if you really want to make sure what it says is right. You are a thinking person, you do not need to be told what is right or wrong. Think, and listen to your soul. Stop watching the news and TV. Those can seriously damage your “self”.

— Hungarian translation:

Ezek a dolgok komoly sérülést okozhatnak neked.

The Air I Breathe

This is a movie that encompasses what life is about. How predictable and yet - at the same time - unpredictable it is. How things happen to us that we and others cause, and how a train of thought changes before coming to an end. In fact it just never comes to an end. The opening quote is a very well chosen one. Just think about it.

You can describe the acts that happen in this movie, but in fact it is not about what happens. It seems to be a kind of gangster movie, where all the lives of the actors depend on one another. It also provides a way of relief at the end (which is quote due - as you could say that some very unfortunate events happen along the way).

Well, what can I say - if you loved the movie “Crash” (2004), then you gonna like this one. Also Brendan Fraser (Mummy) acts very well in his role as the gangster who can predict the future. Sarah Michelle Gellar still looks gorgeous and is a very nice fit for the blonde pop-star-to-be who is sold to the gangsters. :)

“You never can tell” …

Stephen King

I do not like Stephen King’s thoughts anymore. I liked them when I was 14 and it’s been quite a few years now that I do not count myself a fan. But just nowadays I managed to watch a movie based on one of his late novels: Riding the bullet. Bullet is a roller coaster by the way. It is slow, predictable, very Stephen Kingy, and still based in Maine. Typical. Some like it that way - I just cant stand it. I fall to sleep reading / watching this. Mixing the different reality-planes, talking about death and giving you a final very clever life-changing observation on the end. Well, very well then. :)

It’s OK, I know that lots of people still like him, and Mr. King has been on the market for so long now (since at least the 1970’s) that he should probably try to reinvent himself.

He is whether brutal (and crazy) or just slow and tender and occasionally tries to make you jump (this one belongs here), sometimes so much in fantasy land that you might not have any idea about what’s going on - if at all. And that’s it.

As Jose Silva put it: I do not read novels because I am not curious about other people’s fantasies. Well I can’t say that because I still read novels occasionally (but life is so fast…) but not Stephen King anymore. Maybe in English - to learn some new expressions and chisel my use of words but that’s it. And there are good other sources for this as well.

Please do not misunderstand me, Mr King is good, but not for me. Not for me, anymore.
