This is just a short flow of thoughts about Leonard Cohen that came to me as I am listening a compilation of his best songs.

I do not know his older works - I only knew this guy from the soundtrack of the movie “Natural born killers”.

There were 2 tracks by Leonard in there: “The future”, and “Waiting for the miracle”. I loved these songs.

They were of course kind of rude in their own way and a bit depressing to some. He’s kind of like a sad guy who knows a lot about life with a low-rusty voice - which I happen to like very much.

I also know that he wrote the song “Hallelujah” - which many have covered in their own good/bad way.

I include 2 of his best songs here for reference, and for you to listen, if you do not yet know his style. You might or might not like ‘em.

Please listen to them, and see for yourself. If you kind of like these then you should check him out. Watch a few videos on youtube get some of his works, etc.

I am also including an other version of his well known song (from Shrek…). The artists are 4 talented norwegians: Espen Lind(on guitar), Askil Holm, Alejandro Fuentes, Kurt Nilsen(World Idol).
